mac·ro·pho·tog·ra·phy

noun: macro-photography

  1. photography producing photographs of small items larger than life size.

Macro’s one of my biggest passions (obsession? addiction?)

There’s a tiny world beneath our feet, often unseen and easily overlooked.
For me, macro photography is about the thrill of the hunt. The quiet patience it takes to find and reveal the intricate lives of insects, plants, and miniature habitats. It’s in these small details that I discover endless wonder and beauty.

My hope is that these images do more than just capture pretty pictures. I want them to spark curiosity and respect for the tiny creatures we so often dismiss or disturb. Through my lens, I invite you to pause and consider the delicate balance of these miniature ecosystems, and maybe rethink the way we interact with the natural world around us.

Based in Rhode Island, my work focuses on these hidden marvels of New England’s outdoors. Each photograph is a tribute to nature’s quiet resilience and a reminder that even the smallest lives matter.
